The Scorpion HK-4540-400KV motor (8mm) ULTIMATE is a propulsion component for 700 class electric helicopters using 12~18-cell Li-Po power. Its construction combines CNC-machined aluminum alloy parts with a gold electro-coated finish and an epoxy-coated stator made from 0.2mm laminations. The winding uses single-strand 1.5 mm wire in a 5T+5T double-Wye arrangement. The wire carries a 180 degrees C (356 F) rating.
