The Scorpion HK-4535 Shaft Kit XXL (6mm 55mm) provides a factory replacement shaft for HK-4535 series helicopter motors when an existing shaft bends or breaks. Its extended shaft has a 10mm main diameter and a stated overall length of 116mm. The pinion end is ground down to 6mm to accept 6mm pinion gears. The hardened steel shaft therefore combines a larger motor-side section with a narrower gear interface, making those dimensions central to selecting it for a repair or motor installation.
Integration into another brushless motor depends on that motor requiring a 10mm shaft of this length; the shaft can be shortened with a Dremel tool and cut-off wheel if necessary. In Scorpion motors, the shaft has a slight press fit in the aluminum front housing, so removing the setscrews alone does not free it. Removal requires a bearing press or drill press, with the housing supported in a wooden block to prevent warping. Weight including packaging is 56.8g.
