The Scorpion HK-2206 Shaft Kit (3900KV 2.5mm) provides a factory replacement shaft for Scorpion 2206-3900KV motors when a shaft becomes bent or broken. It is a motor service component rather than a flight platform or airframe kit. The hardened steel shaft measures 2.5mm in diameter and 31.3mm in length. Its integration requirements center on those dimensions and the motor housing interface; the stated 6g weight includes packaging and is therefore not a bare-shaft weight.
Installation requires attention to the shaft’s slight press fit in the Scorpion motor’s aluminum front housing. Removing the setscrews alone does not allow the shaft to slide out: removal requires a bearing press or drill press, with the housing supported in a block of wood to prevent warping. Other brushless motors must require the same shaft diameter and length for the stated fit. Where a shorter shaft is necessary, it can be cut using a Dremel tool and cut-off wheel.
