The Scorpion A2-10025-150kv is a BLDC propulsion motor for freestyle and UAV airplanes, intended for applications equivalent to a 150cc–180cc gas engine on 12s LIPO. Its architecture uses a 100 mm diameter, 25 mm thick stator with 24 arms and 28 magnet poles. Construction includes 0.2mm silicon steel laminations and enamel-coated copper windings rated above 200C+. Installation space must accommodate the 112.2mm x 64.25mm motor body and additional 30mm prop spacer; the external shaft diameter is 10mm.
The package supplies the motor, a selectable A2-100 cross mount, a 6x M5@34mm prop mount, three female 6mm bullets, stickers and accessory hardware. Motor-only weight is 1630.6g, increasing to 1864.7g with mounting accessories. Continuous ratings are 140A and 8300 Watts, with current subject to power-percentage reduction factors. Peak power is 12,500 Watts for intermittent full throttle lasting 10–180 seconds, depending on use case and cooling. The maximum rated battery count is 12s; higher counts are possible with smaller prop usage. The separate propeller recommendations specify 16s.
