Product overview
The Wuxi Beiwei Sensing Technology BW-VG525C measures inclination for systems requiring attitude information during motion, including unmanned aircraft, electro-optical pods and stabilized platforms. Its measurement coverage extends to ±90º in pitch and ±180º in roll. Dynamic accuracy is 0.1°, while static accuracy and resolution are each 0.01°. These separate accuracy figures distinguish its moving and stationary measurement capabilities; the finer static figure should therefore be associated specifically with static use.
The sensor occupies a compact rectangular integration envelope of 60 mm in length, 59 mm in width and 29 mm in height. Weight including the cable is 280g, rising to 360g including packaging. CAN provides the output connection, while nonlinearity and orthogonality compensation, bias tracking and Kalman filtering support measurement processing. The temperature range is -40°C to +85°C.
