Product overview

The BW-MINS427 is a packaged micro inertial navigation unit with attitude, gyroscope and accelerometer specifications. Its enclosure measures 60 mm long, 59 mm wide and 29 mm high. Electrical integration uses a 9–36 V DC supply, with selectable RS232, RS485, TTL and Modbus output options. Intended applications include UAVs, unmanned boats, underwater vehicles, robots and platform stabilization, as well as large vessels, automated guided vehicles, automated and unmanned driving, and special-purpose vehicles.

Dynamic attitude accuracy is 0.2°, static accuracy is 0.01°, and heading retention accuracy is 0.1°/min. The pitch measurement range is ±90°, while the accelerometer range is ±1.8 g on each of its three axes. The unit features temperature compensation across -40°C to +85°C, Kalman filtering and a dedicated bias-tracking algorithm. Accelerometer bias stability is 0.001 mg over 100 seconds and 0.01 mg over 10 seconds, both at 25°C and 1σ; gyroscope full-temperature bias stability is 10°/h under a 10-second, 1σ condition.
