Product overview
The RadioMaster GX15 is a radio transmitter designed for RC airplanes, gliders, helicopters and other traditional aircraft. Its housing measures 199*197*78mm and weighs 681g without a battery. A top-mounted 3.5-inch IPS touchscreen sits above the controls to keep flight information visible, while V6 Hall sensor gimbals provide the standard stick controls. The display offers 480 × 320 resolution, 262K colors and up to 600 nits brightness. Internal horizontal and vertical antennas sit behind the display, and a fan with aluminum heat sinks provides cooling.
An STM32 H7 processor runs EdgeTX, requiring transmitter firmware version 2.12.0 or higher. The internal Gemini ExpressLRS system uses two SX1281 transceivers with 250mW output each. F1000 operation requires compatible receivers, and the maximum 16-channel capability also depends on the receiver. Integration options include a JR-compatible module bay and USB-C for charging, simulator connection, firmware updates and data transfer. Replaceable shoulder switch modules and gyroscope-based inputs extend the control layout. The built-in microphone is reserved for future expansion.
The supplied configuration includes the controller, carry case, 18650 battery tray, replacement shoulder panels, cable, screen protector, adjustment hardware, lanyard and documentation. Batteries are excluded; supported options include a 7.4V two-cell lithium-polymer battery, two 3.7V 18650 lithium-ion cells or a 21700 5000mAh battery. The operating voltage range is 6.6–8.4V DC, with 850mA current at maximum output power. Storage comprises 512MB onboard flash or a separately supplied 32GB/FAT32 MicroSD card; inserting the card disables the onboard flash.
