Product overview

The RadioMaster ER16 PWM - Dual-Band GEMINI and GEMINI-X Receiver provides radio control and onboard system connections for large fixed-wing aircraft. Its ExpressLRS architecture combines two Semtech LR1121 transceivers with simultaneous 2.4 GHz and Sub-G 900 MHz operation. Sixteen PWM outputs accommodate higher channel counts, while CRSF and SBUS serial outputs provide additional integration options. The firmware requirement is ExpressLRS 4.1.0 or higher. Radio integration supports ExpressLRS transmitters and modules, including radios with built-in ELRS.

The injection-molded receiver measures 61.5 × 43.8 × 16.8 mm and weighs 33.0 g without antennas. Top-mounted servo outputs provide accessible wiring connections, and amplified PWM signals support long servo leads and extension cables. A locking 4-pin JST-GH UART/CRSF port connects flight controllers, stabilizers, telemetry sensors and other UART peripherals. MMCX antenna connectors provide serviceable antenna attachments, while Wi-Fi and WebUI access allow configuration and updates without opening the housing. The supplied receiver package includes two 2.4GHz antennas, two dual-band antennas, a safety switch module, and voltage telemetry, SBUS and CRSF cables.

Two isolated XT30 inputs accept independent redundant supplies, with continued operation from the remaining source if one fails. Four dedicated ADC channels monitor EXT-V up to 70V and V-PWM, XT30-1 and XT30-2 up to 12V each. The XT30 inputs feed battery voltage directly to the receiver and PWM rail, so servo voltage ratings must match: 2S LiPo/Li-ion installations require HV-rated servos, while standard 5V servos require a regulated 5V supply or the standard servo power input pins. When XT30 powers the receiver and servos, disconnect the ESC’s 5V/BEC wire to prevent back-feeding and damage.
