The RadioLink R4FGM is a four-channel receiver with an integrated gyro for miniature RC cars, including 1:28 models. It measures 25*13mm and weighs 3g. Its architecture combines FHSS radio communication with 67-channel pseudo-random frequency hopping, a 48MHz M0 processor and gyro processing through a software filter and PID algorithm. Gyro sensitivity is adjustable using the PS3 switch. The supplied package contains one R4FGM receiver and one package bag. Input voltage is 3-10V, with support for high-voltage servos.
Servo timing can be selected as 14ms, 4ms or 3ms when bound to RC8X running firmware V1.1.5 or above with FHSS V2 selected; the receiver must carry V2.1 tags or a PASS factory date of 2023/4/26 or later. Other transmitters default to 14ms. Recommended timing is 14ms for analog servos and 4ms or 3ms for digital servos. Ground control distance is up to 400m. Reverse polarity protection covers the receiver, but connected servos lack that protection and require care when connecting power.
