Product overview
The RadioLink R7FG is a receiver component for model cars and boats, with seven channels, dual antennas and an integrated gyro. The standard supplied receiver supports high-voltage servos. Its body measures 35 × 22 × 14 mm and weighs 6 g; antenna length is 205 mm. The package includes one R7FG, one packing bag and one engine-voltage telemetry connection cable. Receiver power input is 3–12 V, with operating current specified as 30 mA based on power voltage. Reverse-polarity protection protects the receiver when power polarity is connected incorrectly.
The output configuration provides PWM on CH1–CH7 when the LED is green or red. With a blue or purple LED, CH1–CH5 provide PWM, CH6 provides PPM and CH7 provides SBUS. Radio communication uses the 2.4 GHz ISM band and FHSS with 67-channel pseudo-random frequency hopping. Control distance is up to 600 meters on the ground. Compatible transmitters include RC8P, RC8X, specified RC6GS and RC4GS versions, T16D, T12D, and BT or OTG versions of T8FB and T8S. R7FG V1.2 and V1.3 provide IPX4 splash protection.
Built-in telemetry transmits RSSI, receiver voltage and model voltage. RSSI and receiver voltage appear after binding; model voltage requires the battery to be connected to the telemetry port through the supplied cable. This telemetry supports up to an 8S battery without an additional backhaul module. Two-way transmission requires flashing the corresponding latest firmware, with listed RC6GS V6.0.0 support restricted to the three-position switch version and RC4GS V6.0.1 support restricted to units produced after January 1, 2018. The receiver also stores ten subsidiary IDs for use with multiple bound receivers.
