Product overview
The RadioLink R8EF provides eight-channel radio reception for helicopters, fixed-wing aircraft, gliders and multicopters, with additional applications in cars, boats and robots. Its control interface supports simultaneous SBUS/PPM and PWM output, allowing integration around those signal formats. The radio link uses FHSS spread spectrum with 67-channel pseudo-random frequency hopping to help reduce interference. Control distance is specified as 2000 meters, while maximum PWM jitter is 1.84 us with a standard deviation of 0.25 us.
Electrical integration centers on a 3–15 V operating range and support for high-voltage servos. Compatible aircraft transmitters are RadioLink T16D, T12D, T8FB and T8S; listed surface transmitters include RC8P, RC8X, RC6GS V3, RC4GS V3, RC6GS V2, RC4GS V2, RC6GS and the RC4GS series. The supplied configuration consists of one R8EF receiver and one packing bag. Procurement therefore concerns a receiver component for integration into a model control system, rather than a complete flight platform or airframe kit.
