Product overview
The Autel Robotics Autel Smart Tracking Antenna supports long-distance UAV communications for inspection, patrol and search-and-rescue operations. Its integrated assembly combines a directional panel antenna, an omnidirectional fiberglass antenna, a base-station mainboard and RTK antenna modules. The two communication antennas support dynamic link selection according to their measured signal strengths. Directional relay operation provides a stated video transmission distance of 45 km under line-of-sight conditions without interference; the maximum 70 Mbps bitrate requires MIMO operation within 10 km.
A servo-driven mechanism points the directional antenna using aircraft latitude, longitude and altitude obtained from flight-control data. The mainboard combines and corrects these inputs to generate angle commands, supporting 360° horizontal rotation and 55° upward adjustment for real-time tracking. Integrated dual RTK modules calculate the antenna's position relative to the aircraft and support centimeter-level positioning, including in substantially obstructed settings. The quick-release structure accommodates fixed tripod deployment or installation on moving vehicles and boats, with fixed and mobile operating modes.
The power arrangement uses redundant dual batteries, supports hot swapping and provides up to 15 hours of operation, with a stated 30-second quick release. Environmental specifications are IP54 protection and an operating temperature range of -20°C to +40°C. The antenna also supports integration with the Dragonfish ground station. This product is a tracking and communications accessory: its described configuration centers on antenna, positioning, control and battery hardware. Tripods, vehicles, boats and the ground station are deployment or integration options rather than identified package contents.
