Product overview
The RadioMaster Bandit Nano ExpressLRS 915MHz RF Module provides an external radio-control link for transmitters equipped with a Nano module bay. Its standard eight-pin Nano connector supports integration with Zorro, Pocket and MT12 radios, as well as other radios using that bay format. ExpressLRS comes installed as standard. Output reaches up to 1 Watt, with a specified refresh-rate range of 25Hz/200Hz and packet rates up to 200Hz. The regulatory-domain specification is FCC915, and the module also supports Wi-Fi and Bluetooth.
The enclosure measures 68.5 × 41.0 × 27.0mm and weighs 62.5grams with the T antenna fitted. Its electronics combine an ESP32 main processor, an ESP8285 auxiliary processor serving as the ExpressLRS backpack, and a SEMTECH SX1276 RF chip. A built-in TCXO oscillator accompanies convection cooling and an internal turbo fan. Settings are accessible through an OLED display and five-directional navigation key. For power integration, the XT30 input accepts DC 6V ~ 16.8V; UART solder pads on the PCB provide an additional connection point.
The supplied package contains one module, one T antenna and one manual. The included antenna is described as 915/868MHz in the feature specification and as 900Mhz in the package list. It serves general-purpose use; the directional RadioMaster Moxon antenna is a separate purchase. The hardware can also be repurposed as a 1000mW telemetry receiver. Meshtastic and mLRS compatibility provide additional firmware options, while the delivered configuration remains ExpressLRS. These integration choices concern a radio module rather than a complete flight platform or airframe kit.
