Nanchang ChangKong Technology’s CKESC Breeze 30A-M FOC is an electronic speed controller for UAV motor control. Its FOC drive uses vfast observer technology, with features including low noise, improved throttle linearity and kinetic energy recovery. The controller measures 50 × 23 × 12.8 mm and weighs 30 g including wiring, providing concrete dimensions and mass for propulsion-system integration. The maximum continuous operating current is 30 A under specific cooling conditions, making heat removal a material integration requirement. Above 120°C, protection gradually reduces maximum output power, potentially to 40% of full-throttle power, and restores it after cooling. Voltage protection inhibits startup outside permitted limits, while startup, current, overload and battery protections constrain operation. Following 500 ms of signal loss, throttle falls below 40% within 3 seconds before declining to shutdown. Stall recovery attempts a restart, but a high-throttle stall may damage the controller.
