The A40-1400&2200 is an industrial-grade TDD communication link for video and data. Its dual-band radio covers 1335–1475 MHz and 2155–2295 MHz, with customizable operating bands and transmit power specified as 40 dBm (10 W). The radio uses a 2T2R architecture and offers 10 / 20 MHz channel bandwidths with BPSK, QPSK, 16QAM and 64QAM modulation. Maximum throughput is greater than 20 Mbps, latency is ≤10 ms, and encryption is AES. Its approximately 150 km communication distance applies under ideal line-of-sight conditions.
Physical integration requires space for a 176.7 × 77 × 30.5 mm unit weighing 530 g. Connections comprise two SMA RF ports, one power interface, two Ethernet interfaces, two TTL/RS232 interfaces and one SBUS/TTL interface.
