Product overview
The MDOT COMMS A33-600&1400 is a TDD video and data link for urban multipath and electromagnetic-interference-heavy environments. Its dual-band architecture combines 585–705 MHz operation with 1335–1475 MHz operation, using 2T2R RF chains and configurable 33 dBm (2 W) transmit power. It supports P2P, star and mesh networks, with distributed frequency selection and real-time spectrum monitoring. Communication distance is approximately 50 km under ideal line-of-sight conditions; maximum throughput is greater than 20 Mbps and latency is ≤10 ms.
The hardware measures 134 × 71 × 18.4 mm and weighs 235 g, defining its integration envelope. Connections comprise two SMA RF ports, one power interface, one Ethernet interface, two TTL/RS232 interfaces and one SBUS/TTL interface. Electrical integration requires DC 9–26 V, with a typical supply of 12 V at 2.1 A and power draw of ≤25 W. The temperature range is -40 °C to +75 °C. Channel bandwidth options are 10 / 20 MHz, with AES encryption and BPSK, QPSK, 16QAM or 64QAM modulation.
