The radio provides a plug-and-play telemetry connection for Pixhawk Standard and similar flight controllers. Its open-source firmware is designed for MAVLink packets and integration with Mission Planner, Ardupilot, QGroundControl and PX4.
Holybro lists 915 MHz and 433 MHz versions and instructs buyers to select the model appropriate for their country or region.
The Long Range radio accepts a 7–28 V DC supply through an XT30 connection.
