The CADDX Walksnail Ascent Lite+ VTX combines a separate camera and video transmitter for digital FPV video with real-time audio. Its camera measures 12 × 14 × 15.8mm, while the transmitter occupies 23.5 × 23.5 × 8mm and uses 20 × 20mm M2 mounting spacing. A built-in microphone supports audio capture and recording. The camera provides a 147° field of view in a 16:9 format, with 1080P and 720P output at 120, 100 or 60fps. Average end-to-end latency is 35ms.
Integration provisions include a 6-pin connector, Canvas mode OSD and support for Betaflight, Inav, Fettec, Kiss and ArduPilot. Input power spans 3V–12.6V for 1S–3S battery systems. The metal housing can be removed: the stated weight is 10.5g, with separate cover-excluded figures of 2.75g for the transmitter and 5.96g for the transmission kit. Automatic frequency hopping and manual tuning are supported alongside secure pairing and AES-256 encryption. Transmission distance reaches up to 8km under ideal conditions; EIRP limits differ between FCC/SRRC and CE configurations.
