Product overview
The Maytech MT85A-SBEC-HE Harrier Eco is a motor speed controller for RC airplanes and helicopters, with applications also including aerobatic flying, racing airplanes, drones, remotely operated vehicles and cable cameras. Its electrical specification combines 85A continuous current, 90A burst current and a 5.5V/4A SBEC with support for 2–6-cell LiPo batteries. The controller measures 83 × 37 × 17mm and has a net weight of 90g, providing concrete dimensions and mass for integration planning. Its microcontroller uses a separate voltage regulator IC for interference resistance.
The supplied pack configurations contain 20 or 50 controllers. Parameter adjustment is supported through a transmitter or an optional Maytech programming card, which is excluded from the supplied configuration. Motor direction can be changed by exchanging two of the three ESC wires or through the programming card. Control features include linear throttle response and low-speed operation, alongside low-voltage, blocked-rotation and signal-loss protection. At battery connection, startup protection prevents the motor from starting regardless of throttle-stick position.
