Product overview

The Maytech MT60A-SBEC-FP32 Falcon Pro is a brushless electronic speed controller designed primarily for RC airplanes. Its listed applications also cover helicopters, racing airplanes, aerobatic flying, remotely operated vehicles, underwater robotics, cablecam systems and broadcast equipment. The controller uses a 32-bit microcontroller with Maytech FP series firmware and a separate voltage-regulator IC for the microcontroller. Its motor-control features address startup, throttle linearity, quick throttle response and low-speed operation. This is a propulsion-control component for integration into a vehicle.

The controller measures 50*31mm and weighs 58g net, providing concrete dimensions and mass for installation planning. Its electrical configuration comprises a 60A continuous-current rating, an 80A burst-current rating and a 5.5V/5A BEC, with a 2-6-cell LiPo battery range. Programming is available through Trx or an optional Maytech programming card. Motor rotation can be reversed by exchanging two of the three ESC wires or using the card. Protection covers low voltage, blocked rotation and signal loss; the startup safeguard prevents motor startup upon battery connection regardless of throttle-stick position.
