Product overview

The Maytech MT45A-SBEC-FP32 Falcon Pro is a brushless electronic speed controller intended particularly for RC airplanes, with helicopter, aerobatic and racing-aircraft applications also listed. Its architecture combines a 32-bit microcontroller with a separate voltage-regulator IC for the MCU to support interference resistance. Motor-control features include linear throttle response, quick response to throttle changes and low-speed operation. The controller runs Maytech FP series firmware and incorporates low-voltage, blocked-rotation and signal-loss protection for the connected motor-control system.

For installation planning, the ESC measures 50*25mm and has a net weight of 48g. Its electrical configuration specifies 45A continuous current, 55A burst current, a 5.5V/5A BEC and a 2-6-cell LiPo battery input. Parameters can be programmed through Trx or an optional Maytech programming card. Motor direction can be changed through the card or by swapping two of the three ESC wires. At battery connection, the startup function keeps the motor from starting regardless of throttle-stick position.
