Product overview
HOBBYWING’s X9 Plus provides a motor, ESC and propeller propulsion configuration for UAV integration. The manufacturer lists agriculture, education and training, logistics, firefighting, surveying and inspection as intended applications. Its integrated motor-and-ESC assembly mounts to a circular carbon-fiber tube with a 40mm outer diameter. The published configuration pairs a 9620-100KV motor with an XRotor 150A-FOC ESC and MFP 36x19.0 composite propellers. Procurement should therefore treat it as a propulsion subsystem, rather than a complete flight platform or an airframe-only kit.
Installation planning should use the published 149.6 × 104 × 130.5mm assembly dimensions and 1760g weight, which includes cables and propellers, while confirming the selected configuration. The power cable is specified as 12AWG with a 1000±10mm length, and the signal line as 1090±20mm. Electrical integration must accommodate the 18-65V input range and specified 12S/14S LiPo configurations. The ESC uses UART, accepts a 1050-1950μs operating pulse width and has no BEC. Throttle travel calibration and dual throttle signals are listed as unsupported.
The current specification table gives 27kg maximum thrust, an 11-13kg recommended takeoff weight per axis and corresponding efficiency of 8.1-7.4g/W. These are configuration values, not guaranteed aircraft performance; the accompanying thrust tests specify 54V, MFP 36x19.0 propellers, 25°C and sea level. Continuous limits are 1700W rated output and 40A ESC current, while 150A is a three-second peak. The table specifies IPX6 for key parts despite conflicting descriptive protection claims. Operating-status integration is described, but the eight-channel DataLinkBox requires separate purchase.
