The MAD V8017 PRO IPE Feathering propeller Autocenter eVTOL Drone Motor is a propulsion component whose defining function is propeller alignment after shutdown. With a propeller fitted, it is designed to return automatically to a horizontal position relative to the wing, providing streamlined alignment. The specified motor is the MAD V8017 PRO IPE V1.0 in a 170KV configuration. Its construction combines 14 pole pairs, an anticorrosive stator, two 6901ZZ bearings and centrifugal heat dissipation.
Mechanical integration uses a D:88.5 × 46.2 mm motor envelope, an IN: 12 mm shaft diameter and D:40 M4×4 motor mounting holes. Propeller attachment supports the specified D:20 M3×4 and D:23 M4×4 patterns. Electrical routing uses a 1000 mm black silicone cable in 14# AWG. Protection is rated IP35; the varnished wire and magnets have respective temperature ratings of 180°C and 150°C. Rotor balance is ≤5 mg, motor balance is ≤10 mg, and the disruptive test specification is 500 V.
