The Scorpion HKIII-50 Motor Bearing Kit (22mm) supplies two different original-equipment replacement bearings for Scorpion HKIII-5035 Series motors. It serves motor maintenance when bearings become damaged, including after a crash or a landing in dirt. The supplied hardware comprises bearings measuring 22mm outside diameter × 10mm inside diameter × 6mm thick and 19mm outside diameter × 10mm inside diameter × 5mm thick. Both are exact replacements for the motors’ stock bearings.
Integration depends on the bearings’ snug fit within the motor housings. Old bearings may need gentle tapping for removal, but new bearings must be pressed into place through the outer race. Tapping a new bearing can dent its ball races and ruin it; applying installation pressure to the inner race can also damage it and cause premature failure. The kit weighs 16g including packaging, so that figure includes more than the bearings themselves.
