The JOUAV CA-103 Aerial Camera is developed and manufactured by JOUAV for aerial photogrammetry. It combines a 61.0-megapixel full-frame back-illuminated Exmor R CMOS sensor with a wide-angle JAL-35 lens and a shock-absorbing bottom plate with four-corner protection. The sensor measures 35.7 × 23.8 mm and captures 9504 × 6336 images in JPEG Fine format. Its civilian applications include land surveying, topographic mapping, urban planning, agricultural mapping, mining surveying, powerline inspection and construction mapping.

The CA-103 supports single shooting and four continuous shooting modes: Hi+ at a maximum of 10 photos per second, Hi at 8, Mid at 6 and Lo at 3. A self-locking drawer mounting facilitates attachment and removal, and bottom-mounted M3 screw fixing points are also specified. The camera supports Sony E-mount lenses, weighs approximately 243 g and measures 100 × 74 × 42.5 mm. It requires a 10–18 V power supply and has a specified operating temperature range of 0–40°C. Performance figures are theoretical values from JOUAV's internal laboratory tests under particular conditions; actual performance may vary with product configuration, software version, application conditions and environment.

Compatible JOUAV aircraft include the CW-007, CW-15 and CW-25E. The CA-103 is also offered as an optional camera payload for JOUAV's automated fixed-wing VTOL system for unattended operations. Its raw imagery can be processed into digital elevation models, digital orthophoto maps, digital line graphs, 3D models and other surveying and mapping products. These products result from processing the captured data rather than being direct camera outputs.
