The Hongfei HBR T22-M Mist Spraying Drone – M5 Intelligent Mist Machine is an agricultural flight platform for applying pesticide mist in fruit orchards. Its M5 unit uses high-temperature, high-pressure airflow from a pulse jet engine to break liquid into a nozzle-generated mist, without relying on direct high-temperature heating of the liquid. Sprayed particles measure less than 50 microns. The spraying system combines a 22L pesticide barrel with a 1.5L gasoline tank, a 4-6m spray width and a specified spray efficiency of ≥7ha/hour.
The physical structure combines aerospace carbon fiber with aerospace aluminum, including a 7075 aviation aluminum structure. Overall dimensions are 2360mm*2360mm*640mm, reducing to 1070mm*700mm*640mm when folded. The fumigation equipment occupies 920mm*160mm*150mm, providing a separate dimensional reference for that assembly. Weight is 21.5KG, maximum takeoff weight is 44KG, and flight speed is limited to ≤15m/s. The specified configuration includes one 12S 22000mAh lithium-polymer battery and an intelligent charger accepting 100-240V AC input.
Integrated flight control combines inertial and satellite navigation sensing with GPS positioning, autonomous flight and terrain following. Plot mode supports 128 waypoints and adjustable height, speed, obstacle-avoidance mode and flight path. Edge-sweeping mode follows the planned boundary with a selectable circuit count. Fruit tree mode supports hovering and rotation at a point, selected-waypoint spraying and height adjustment during fixed-point or slope operations. Cloud plot sharing lets teams download, edit and delete planned plots, supporting reuse of orchard operation plans.
