The Tianying Xiongdi S30 is an agricultural plant-protection drone equipped for spraying, with terrain-following radar and forward- and rearward-facing obstacle-avoidance radar. Its flight system supports flight point marking, intelligent flight continuation and return. Remote-controller planning relies on RTK/GNSS, while hovering accuracy reaches centimeter level. The terrain-following radar has an effective height-measurement range of 0.5–8 m. The obstacle-avoidance radar has an effective detection distance of 1.5–20 m, defining the stated sensing ranges of the equipped radar configuration.
The S30’s spraying equipment combines adjustable droplet size and spray width with a turbine flowmeter. Droplet size can be adjusted from 35–500 μm, and spray width from 6–8 m. Maximum spraying flow is 8 L/min, while maximum agricultural operating efficiency is 220 mu/hour. Flowmeter accuracy is specified separately for two measurement ranges: ±2% at 0.5–5 L/min and ±5% at 0.5–10 L/min. These accuracy figures apply to their respective flow ranges; the upper flowmeter measurement range does not increase the drone’s stated maximum spraying flow.
