Product overview
The HOBBYWING XRotor Micro Flight Controller F4 G2 is a flight control board for quadcopters, with applications spanning 130-300mm FPV aircraft and racing. Its 36*36mm footprint and 6g weight define the board space and mass required for integration. An STM32F405 MCU and ICM20602 six-axis motion sensor support 32KHz PID controller and gyro operation. The hardware also incorporates an OSD chip and an internal TF-card expansion slot, allowing an inserted SD card to hold flight data. MicroUSB provides the USB connection.
Configuration options include the OMNIBUSF4SD firmware target, support for BetaFlight, Cleanflight, Butterflight and invaflight, and a broad selection of throttle and receiver signal protocols. Voltage and current monitoring, external buzzer support and LED control are provided; the controller has no BEC. Soft cable connections and shock-absorbing mounting holes address external shock. Integration extends to a Hobbywing 4-in-1 tower ESC and HOBBYWING VTX, but the onboard VTX power filter functions only with the 10V BEC of the XRotor Micro 45A 4in1 BLHeli_32 DShot1200.
