The HOBBYWING XRotor Micro 40A 4in1 BLHeli-S DShot600 is a motor-control component for 180-280mm FPVs. It combines four 40A ESCs, a BEC and an Amp/Volt monitoring port on a board measuring 42.6x36x4mm and weighing 10g. Its construction includes EMF8BB21F16G MCUs operating at up to 48MHz, MOSFETs, 3-in-1 drive ICs and ceramic capacitors, with 3-ounce copper and six PCB layers. The supplied input arrangement comprises 130mm red and black 14AWG wires and an XT60 connector with wires soldered on. Motor connections use solder tabs; output wires and output connectors are absent.
The controller accepts 2-5S LiPo power, with continuous/peak current ratings of 40AX4/50AX4 and a BEC output of 5V & 1.5A. BLHeli-S A-H-50 16.5 supports regular PWM, Oneshot125, Oneshot42, MultiShot and DShot150/300/600. Hardware-generated motor PWM works alongside Damped Light regenerative braking and active freewheeling. Real-time voltage and current monitoring requires a flight controller supporting that function. Parameter adjustment and firmware updates through the throttle signal wire require another development board or a flight controller flashed with Cleanflight/Betaflight firmware. Stick programming and BLHeliSuite provide the listed ESC programming methods.
