Shenzhen Vulcan Innovation Technology CO.,Ltd

Company overview

Shenzhen Vulcan Innovation Technology CO.,Ltd is a Guangdong-based company operating under the VCI brand. Founded in 2016, it combines research and development, design, production and sales, with a background in OEM brushless motor manufacturing. Its hardware range includes FPV drone motors, industrial UAV motors, cinematic aircraft and FPV fixed-wing airplanes. The range encompasses propulsion components and complete aircraft, with aerial filmmaking among the civilian applications served by its cinematic platforms.

The company's VCI-ADS15 FPV CINELIFTER, model ADS15x8, is designed for film production using DSLR or cinema cameras, including RED KOMODO, ZCAM and BMPCC. It supports the DJI RS3 professional three-axis gimbal system and FPV high-definition image transmission. Its X8 propulsion configuration accommodates 13–15-inch propellers. Recommended camera-load guidance is ambiguous, with values rendered as 5 kg and “3 5KG”; the maximum camera weight must not exceed 8 kg. Soft damping between the camera mounting assembly and frame is intended to reduce vibration generated by the motors and propellers.

The ADS15x8 has a folding frame to reduce its size for storage and transport. Upper and lower mounting arrangements accommodate batteries and cameras for different filming configurations, while universal quick-release provisions support fast battery replacement. Its construction also includes a fully enclosed frame design, a separate ESC cooling system and thick octagonal carbon-tube arms intended to provide rigidity and resistance to twisting. Together, these features provide mounting and transport flexibility for its camera-carrying role in aerial cinematography.
