Product overview
The HOBBYWING Xrotor 1408 Race Pro is a propulsion motor intended for 130mm FPV racing drones. Its construction combines CNC-machined 6061 aluminum, NSK bearings, N54 NdFeB magnets and 0.15mm silicon steel stator laminations. The internal layout uses nine stator arms and twelve rotor poles around a stator measuring 14mm in diameter and 8mm thick. Four motor configurations provide 2400KV, 2850KV, 3250KV and 3750KV options, with separate product numbers identifying each configuration.
For installation planning, the motor has a 19mm rotor diameter, 16.3mm body length, 5mm shaft diameter and 29.3mm overall shaft length, with 24AWG/80mm wiring. All four versions specify a 3-inch propeller and a 12-15A ESC; LiPo cell counts differ by winding, from 6S for 2400KV to 3S for 3750KV. Maximum continuous current and power figures carry a 30-second qualification. The specification weight is 15.8g excluding cable, while the descriptive weight is 15.5g without wires.
