The HOBBYWING H15MD Plus supplies an integrated coaxial propulsion assembly for industrial UAVs used in material lifting, logistics transportation and emergency firefighting. Its dual-rotor architecture combines large carbon fibre propellers with a modular motor, ESC and motor base. The motor uses a three-bearing arrangement, and the base incorporates a 3° tilt. Supplied attachment hardware includes aluminium liner sleeves, a four-way locking outer cuff and positioning collars. Mounting options accommodate 80 mm outer-diameter arm tubes with 3 mm or 5 mm walls; the H15MD Plus-24S specification identifies a 5 mm wall.
Electrical integration accommodates 24S–28S LiPo batteries, rated at 92 V for 24S and 108 V for 28S, within a 36–130 V input range. Assembly weight is 12600±200 g with cables and propellers. Optional propeller configurations include non-folding MSC 73x21, folding MFC 73x23 and high-altitude propellers. Motor temperature monitoring is standard, with enlarged vents and centrifugal fans for cooling. The ESC accepts PWM and CAN throttle inputs and uses UAVCAN communication. CAN telemetry provides RPM, throttle, current, voltage and temperature data, while throttle range calibration is unsupported.
Maximum single-axis thrust is 195 kg at sea level, with a recommended takeoff weight of 80 kg per axis and efficiency of 7.5 g/W at coaxial rated thrust. A four-axis installation using eight rotors and eight propellers supports a specified maximum takeoff weight above 320 kg and suitable payloads of 150–200 kg. Operating limits include -40–60 °C and IPX6 protection. Material-lifting operations must avoid overloading, and prolonged overload operation is strongly discouraged. Default intelligent propeller control supports vehicle-mounted directional propeller stopping. Built-in black-box logs can be read through CAN for fault diagnosis.
