Product overview
The Happymodel SuperX ELRS V2.0 combines flight control, four-channel motor control, radio reception, video transmission and an on-screen display in an integrated controller. Its electronics include an STM32F411CEU6 processor rated at 100MHZ with 512K FLASH, an ESP32-PICO-D4 and a BMI270 sensor connected through SPI. The mounting pattern is 25.5mm by 25.5mm. Electrical integration is bounded by a 1S battery input of DC 2.9V–4.35V, with built-in voltage and current measurement using scale settings of 110 and 1175 respectively.
The onboard Blheli_S four-in-one ESC supports 1S LiPo and LiPo HV batteries, with 5A continuous current and a 6A peak limited to three seconds. Its factory configuration uses Bluejay v0.19.2 and DSHOT300, with BLHeliSuite programming support, an O-H-5 48KHZ firmware target and recommended startup power settings of min1100/max1200. The integrated UART ExpressLRS receiver operates at 2.4GHz through an enameled copper wire antenna. It uses Serial_based CRSF, offers 50Hz/150Hz/250Hz/500Hz packet rates and supports ExpressLRS V3.x.x transmitter modules.
Video functions comprise SPI-controlled Betaflight OSD and a 5.8G OpenVTX transmitter with MSP control, PIT mode support, 40 channels and a U.FL antenna connector. Selectable transmitting power is listed as 0/RCE/25mw/100mw/400mw; the transmitter takes DC 5V and draws less than 650ma at 400mw. Receiver firmware can be flashed individually over Wi-Fi, with the HappyModel AIO 2.4GHz RX+VTX web-flasher target available from ExpressLRS 3.4.0 RC2. If VTX readiness becomes false after saving and rebooting from Betaflight’s port tab, recovery requires a controller power cycle.
