The GEPRC SPEEDX2 2809 1280KV Motor is a propulsion component for 7–8 inch FPV drones, with applications covering long-range FPV and X8 models in that size range. Its architecture combines a 12N14P configuration, a 28mm-diameter stator with a 9mm height, and N52SH ARC magnets. The stator uses 0.2MM Kawasaki silicon steel sheets. A 7075-T6 aviation aluminum alloy rotor and CNC-integrated construction form the mechanical package, finished in red and black. The rotor edge incorporates a load-bearing structure intended to improve impact resistance.
For installation planning, the motor measures Φ36.04mm × 36.53mm and weighs 71.4g. It provides a Φ5mm output shaft, a 19x19mm mounting pattern for M3 fasteners, and 250mm 18AWG leads. Its electrical specification is 1280KV with a rated supply of 25.2V from a 6S LiPo; listed maxima are 1148.9 W and 49.35A. The supplied package contains one motor, four M3*9 round-head screws and one M5 anti-slip nut.
