The GEPRC MATEN 5.8G 3W VTX PRO V2 provides video transmission for flight installations, with five selectable output levels: 25mW, 200mW, 600mW, 1600mW and 3000mW, plus Pit mode. Its frequency range is 4884-6184MHz across 104 channels, with direct frequency entry supported through the configurator. IRC Tramp enables parameter adjustment through OSD, while one function adjustment button and three indicator lights provide local controls. Procurement options cover SMA and MMCX antenna connections.
The enclosure uses CNC aluminum alloy and incorporates a micro turbofan for active heat dissipation. Installation space depends on the connector configuration: the SMA version measures 57.5×31.5×17.5mm, while the MMCX version measures 50×31.5×17.5mm. Both listed mounting patterns use M2 fasteners, at 20x20mm and 25.5×25.5mm. The VTX alone weighs 35.6g. Electrical integration uses an SH1.0 6pin cable connector, a DC7-36V input for a 2-8S battery, and a 5V output reserved for camera use.
The supplied package contains one transmitter, one 150mm SH1.0 6pin VTX connection cable and one user manual. An antenna must be installed before use. Despite its built-in fan and temperature protection, the unit requires constant airflow and a well-ventilated environment during flight to prevent overheating; operation in confined conditions calls for a cooling fan. Wiring also has a specific restriction: connecting battery input to the camera-only 5V output port will damage the transmitter.
