Product overview
The GEPRC GEP-VTX200-Whoop is an FPV video transmitter supplied as an electronics component for a video transmission installation. It operates at 5.8GHz across five bands and 48 channels, including Raceband. Its selectable output settings are Pit, 25mW, 100mW and 200mW, giving the installation several transmission power options. PAL and NTSC video formats are supported, while IRC Tramp provides the control protocol.
The transmitter weighs 2g without its antenna and uses an RG178 antenna with a U.FL interface. Integration requires a supply within the specified 4.5V–5.3V input range, with typical current consumption stated as 300mA. The supplied configuration comprises one GEP-VTX200-WHOOP FPV video transmitter, one antenna described as 5.8g, and two cables. The 2g figure applies specifically to the transmitter without the antenna, so it does not represent the weight of the complete supplied configuration.
