Product overview
The GDU S400 is a professional quadrotor flight platform for inspection, public safety and other industrial operations. Its compact, folding airframe reduces to approximately backpack size for field transport, while a 3 kg payload capacity provides carrying capacity for mission equipment. Dual-payload support allows two payloads to work together during combined assignments. The aircraft is also designed for integration with GDU’s K01 automatic drone hangar, supporting unattended inspection workflows. Flight endurance is stated as 58 minutes, providing extended time for mission work.
The S400 combines vision and millimeter-wave radar for obstacle avoidance, with an 80 m detection distance and the ability to detect small obstacles such as high-voltage power lines. Its omnidirectional environmental sensing supports day and night operation. The flagship multisensor gimbal configuration combines a 1/0.98-inch wide-angle module, 34× continuous optical zoom, 1K infrared thermal imaging, laser rangefinding and near-infrared illumination. With 10.4T of AI computing capability, this configuration brings several imaging and sensing functions together for applications including energy inspection, public safety, water management and forestry.
