The GDU S400E is a professional quadrotor flight platform for power inspection, public safety and other industry operations. Its compact, lightweight structure folds to backpack size for field transport, while its 3kg payload capacity accommodates equipment for different operational needs. Support for two payloads enables combined tasks on one aircraft. The platform serves applications including environmental protection, traffic management, smart cities and emergency firefighting, bringing a portable aircraft architecture and multiple payload options to inspection and observation work.
The obstacle avoidance system combines vision and millimeter-wave radar, providing an 80 m detection distance and sensing of small obstacles such as high-voltage wires. Omnidirectional environmental sensing operates across day and night. The featured multisensor gimbal brings together five modules: a 1/0.98-inch wide-angle imager, 34× continuous optical zoom, 1K infrared thermal imaging, laser ranging and near-infrared illumination. Its 10.4T AI computing capability supports imaging and perception for tasks spanning public safety, energy inspection, water management and forestry.
