The EMAX E3 1407 Brushless Motor is a propulsion component for compact FPV aircraft using 3-4 inch propellers. Its intended applications include lightweight freestyle, compact cinematic platforms and responsive micro long-range builds. Three winding options allow selection around the aircraft’s battery configuration: 2800KV uses 4S, while 3300KV and 4100KV support 3-4S. The electrical requirements differ materially between variants, with maximum power figures of 264 W, 360 W and 413 W respectively, all specified at 4S.
The motor measures 19.1 x 29.8 mm and weighs 15.4 g with wire, giving builders concrete dimensions and mass for propulsion integration. It uses a 12 x 12 mm M2 mounting pattern, an M5 clockwise-thread prop adapter shaft and a 2 mm bearing shaft. Construction combines an anodized AL 7075 housing, steel shaft, one-piece outer rotor, N52SH arc magnets, single-strand winding and an NSK precision bearing. The lead is 150 mm of 24 AWG silicone wire; supplied mounting hardware comprises two screw lengths and an aluminum M5 nyloc nut.
