Product overview

The CUAV NEO 4 NANO GNSS CAN Module provides satellite positioning and electronic compass sensing for compact unmanned systems. Its 34 × 20 × 14.5 mm body weighs 10.6 g, making it suitable for installations with tight space and mass constraints. The integrated architecture combines a u‑blox MIA‑M10Q receiver, a 250 MHz STM32H5 Arm Cortex‑M33 processor and an ST IIS2MDC compass. The receiving antenna incorporates a TCXO, dual-channel LNA architecture and RF filtering, while the compass offers a magnetic detection range of up to ±50 Gs with temperature offset compensation.

The module runs CUAV M4C GNSS firmware, supports firmware upgrades and communicates through DroneCAN, with ArduPilot and PX4 compatibility. Its integrated equipment includes an 8-channel bus-controlled RGB light group and buzzer for controller status indication. Integration requires a 4.5 ~ 5.4 V supply and a GHR‑04V‑S data interface; the operating temperature range is -10 ~ +80 ℃. Navigation updates reach up to 10 Hz with four concurrent GNSS or up to 25 Hz with a single GNSS. Horizontal position accuracy is specified as 1.5 m CEP.
