Product overview

The CUAV 7-Nano V2 Flight Controller is a compact control component for integration into unmanned platforms. Its laminated construction and side-exit wiring suit installations with limited internal space, including FPV platforms and micro coaxial helicopters. The controller measures 30.5 × 25.5 × 31.8 mm and weighs 33 g. A 480 MHz STM32H753 Cortex-M7 processor works with IIM-42652/IIM-42653 accelerometer and gyroscope sensors, an IIS2MDCTR electronic compass, and BMP581/ICP-20100 barometer hardware. The product is controller hardware rather than a complete flight platform or airframe kit.

Integration options include five UART interfaces, three I2C interfaces, two CAN buses and two telemetry connections. Fourteen PWM outputs provide actuator connections, with software-switchable 5 V or 3.3 V signal levels. The controller also provides one RC input, RSSI support, primary GPS and safety connectivity, a second GPS connection, an ADC connection, USB, FMU debugging and a TF card slot. Its 100M Ethernet interface supports connections to onboard computers, optical gimbals and data links.

The supplied configuration includes a 7-Nano PDB that combines power distribution with voltage and current sensing. It accepts input up to 70 V (3–16S), senses current up to 60 A and provides six distribution outputs; its sensing is factory-precalibrated. These PDB ratings are distinct from the controller’s 4.5–5.5 V operating supply. USB requires 4.75–5.25 V, while the servo voltage range is 0–10 V. Environmental limits are −20–85 °C and 5–95% humidity without condensation.
