The CNHL Lightning LiHV 4500mAh 22.8V 6S 120C HV LiPo Battery with EC5 Plug is an aircraft power pack intended for applications including 90mm EDF jets, sport and scale electric airplanes, and 6S helicopters. Its supplied electrical configuration combines an EC5 output plug, JST-XH-7P balance connector and 10 AWG wiring. The pack carries continuous and burst discharge ratings of 120C and 240C respectively, with a maximum charge rate of 5C.
Physical integration requires space for a 144 × 45 × 45 mm pack and an aircraft balance arrangement that accommodates approximately 573g. Selection also depends on ESC compatibility, connector type and support for LiHV charging. Charging must stop at 4.35V per cell. Before first use, check battery condition and voltage; if the pack does not initially hold a full charge, its preparation calls for several cycles using a proper balance charger.
