Product overview
The CNHL G+Plus 5000mAh 29.6V 8S 70C LiPo Battery with QS8 Plug is designed to power large electric ducted fan (EDF) jets with a single battery pack. This G+Plus variant combines a 5000mAh capacity, a 29.6V 8S LiPo configuration and a QS8 connector. It carries a 70C discharge rating, without a specified distinction between continuous and burst operation. Its intended application is large EDF aircraft equipped for this voltage and connector; compatibility with an individual jet depends on that aircraft's requirements.
The single-pack configuration provides an alternative to an 8S arrangement made from two 4S batteries connected in series. Those arrangements differ in how batteries can be positioned, particularly in aircraft with separate battery trays or layouts that distribute battery weight between two locations. This model's 29.6V LiPo specification also distinguishes it from CNHL's 30.4V 8S Lightning LiHV batteries. The G+Plus capacity, voltage, pack arrangement and QS8 connection together define the configuration offered by this particular variant.
