The CADDX Walksnail Avatar Repeater provides digital HD signal relaying for FPV video systems. Its architecture combines eight external directional antennas operating across the 5.2GHz and 5.8GHz bands with a built-in hardware filter for reducing environmental interference. Power can be adjusted to suit operating requirements, and pairing uses a simple procedure. Integration centers on the Avatar HD system, with compatibility covering Avatar HD Goggles, Avatar VRX and Walksnail air units. Both antenna types have 7dBi average gain and LHCP polarization.
The repeater measures 119.5 × 72 × 18.6mm and weighs 145g excluding antennas. Electrical integration uses a 9V-26V input, with USB and a 4Pin 1.0mm port provided as interfaces. Communication covers 5.15GHz-5.30GHz and 5.50GHz-5.85GHz; the 5.8G antenna itself has a broader specified frequency range of 5.50GHz-6.00GHz.
