The Caddx Walksnail Avatar HD Goggles L provides a wearable viewing interface for digital FPV applications, including fixed-wing UAVs and RC cars. Its physical layout combines a single 4.5-inch LCD, a 350g body, a built-in directional antenna and a polyurethane foam face interface intended to reduce light leakage. The display operates at 1920*1080/60Hz, while the video link supports 1080p60fps and 720p60fps with H.265 encoding. Removable lenses allow installation of myopia, astigmatism or blue-light-filtering lenses, and a light strip is integrated into the front cover.
Integration centers on the Avatar HD system, a 7V-26V (2S-6S) power input and connections comprising a 4-pin 3.5mm plug, DC5.5*2.1mm and Micro SD. Built-in head tracking captures movement for camera pan and tilt; PPM output can also pass through a radio transmitter to servos. The goggles incorporate a DVR with one-button recording. Storage capacity is specified as 256G in the technical specifications but 64G in the recording description.
