Product overview
The Bynav C1 Series is a GNSS board for high-precision positioning and dual-antenna heading, offered in C1-8D and C1-FD configurations. It combines Bynav's Alita GNSS baseband ASIC, Ripley RFIC and REAL (Ransac Enhanced Advanced Location) engine. RTK positioning uses correction data from a base station, while heading is calculated from the relative positions of two antenna phase centers and their connecting line's angle to True North. Civilian applications include surveying and mapping, UAVs and other unmanned systems, precision agriculture, digital construction and deformation monitoring.
The C1-8D is an eight-frequency, dual-antenna model, while the C1-FD is a full-frequency, dual-antenna model. Both support reference and rover station modes, timing, NTRIP and dual-antenna raw observation output. Specified RTK accuracy is 1.0 cm + 1 ppm horizontally and 1.5 cm + 1 ppm vertically, both RMS; heading accuracy is specified as 0.2 degrees/m RMS. Maximum raw-data, RTK and combined RTK-plus-heading output rates are 5 Hz for the C1-8D and 10 Hz for the C1-FD.
Both models measure 71 × 46 × 11 mm and weigh 20 g. Typical power consumption is 1.8 W for the C1-8D and 1.9 W for the C1-FD, with a rated supply voltage of +3.25 to +3.45 V. The series provides serial, CAN and Ethernet connection options and supports a deeply coupled GNSS/INS algorithm, raw-data output and post-processing. Optional integration accessories include an evaluation kit, GNSS antennas, RF cables, receiver housing and base-station and rover radios.
