Product overview

Bynav Alice is a high-precision GNSS system-on-chip for civilian positioning and navigation, with applications in intelligent driving, driver license testing, surveying and mapping, engineering machinery and unmanned systems such as UAVs. The automotive-grade chip integrates a baseband ASIC and RFIC using a 22 nm process in a 6 × 8 mm package. Its built-in REAL RTK positioning engine and DIST deep-coupled GNSS/INS navigation engine support positioning and integrated navigation, while external inertial navigation information can assist satellite signal tracking. Alice also powers Bynav's M2 Series modules.

Alice supports signals from BDS, GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, QZSS, NavIC and SBAS, together with three L-band channels covering 1525–1559 MHz. It has 1507 channels and an observation output rate of 50 Hz. Specified horizontal positioning accuracy is 1.5 m RMS in single-point mode and 1 cm + 1 ppm RMS with RTK; corresponding vertical accuracy is 2.5 m RMS and 1.5 cm + 1 ppm RMS. These figures distinguish its single-point positioning performance from its higher-precision RTK operation.

The chip combines SAIF interference suppression with multi-satellite, multi-frequency vector tracking, multipath suppression and real-time signal quality monitoring. Multipath processing addresses satellite signals reflected by buildings, while external inertial information can assist tracking in harsh environments. Its anti-jamming specifications cover multitone interference with more than six pulses, narrowband interference spanning at least 10% of the signal bandwidth, and fast sweep interference, with an interference-signal ratio of 65 dBc. Other specifications include reacquisition within 1 second, timing accuracy of ≤20 ns RMS and an ambient temperature range of −40°C to +105°C.
