The RCTimer ArduFlyer/APM 2.5.x u-Blox CN06 Plus GPS Receiver combines satellite positioning, an external magnetometer and controller status indication on a PCB accessory. Its GPS section uses a u-blox UBX-G6010-ST with a 5 Hz update rate, a ceramic patch antenna, an LNA and a SAW filter. A rechargeable 3V lithium backup battery, low noise 3.3V regulator and I2C EEPROM support the receiver hardware and configuration storage. GPS power and fix indication accompanies the ArduFlyer/APM-compatible ARM and GPS status LEDs.
Integration requires space for a 40.64 x 66.42 x 7.8 mm assembly weighing 12.4 grams. The ceramic patch antenna measures 25 x 25 x 2 mm; mounting holes have a 3.3mm diameter and a stated installation position of 61.09 x 35.31mm. The HMC5883L external magnetometer uses a 3.3V I2C interface. The supplied configuration comprises the CN06 Plus PCB and three 100mm cables for GPS, I2C and status LEDs, with 5-pin JST and 4 pin JST connections specified for GPS and I2C respectively. Compatibility is specified for ArduFlyer/APM 2.5.x.
