Product overview
The BrotherHobby Tornado T5 3115 Pro Motor is a propulsion component for FPV drone integration. Its physical construction combines an Al 7075 base casing and bell cap with a hollow titanium alloy shaft. Internally, the motor uses a 12N14P configuration, a stator made from 0.2mm Kawasaki silicon steel, and N52H arc rotor magnets. Japanese NMB bearings measure 11mm X 5mm X 5 mm. These details define the motor’s construction and mechanical interfaces for an aircraft installation.
Installation uses an M3 mounting pattern measuring 19X19mm and an M5 propeller adapter shaft thread. The electrical specification is 5-8S LiPo, with 16AWG wires measuring 30cm long; the stated 116g weight includes 30cm SR wires. Selectable KV values are 400, 480, 640, 900, 970, 1050, 1200 and 1520, while the technical specification lists 480KV, 640KV, 900KV and 1050KV. The supplied hardware is a motor component, with mounting, propeller attachment and wiring provisions for integration into a drone.
