Walkera, Guangzhou Walkera Technology Co., Ltd., was established in 1994 and develops UAV platforms, flight control systems, aerial imaging systems, gimbal stabilization and obstacle avoidance technology. Its hardware range spans industrial aircraft, consumer aerial photography drones and FPV racing drones.
Its industrial range includes gasoline-electric hybrid platforms with flight times up to 2.5 hours for emergency rescue, patrol reconnaissance and power infrastructure inspection, alongside hybrid agricultural spraying drones and firefighting UAVs. Walkera also combines 4G communications and 30x optical zoom for networked live monitoring by multiple aircraft, with public security applications in Hainan and Hunan.
The consumer range incorporates technologies including 4K cameras, optical flow positioning, obstacle avoidance, automatic cruising and visual subject following. Its compact racing drones pair with FPV goggles and can reach speeds up to 120 km/h.
